Who we are

The only award in dance music
never for sale.

Founded in Ibiza in 1998 and held at the close of every season since, the DJ Awards is the longest-running independent awards in electronic music. Nineteen years at Pacha. A year at Hi. A pause, a reboot — and now the twenty-fifth edition, at Amnesia, in the year the club itself turns fifty.

Fifty people from inside the industry decide who is nominated. The public decide who wins. There is no submission fee, no category for sale and no way to buy a place on the list. That is why the artists come in person — and why a DJ Award still means something twenty-five years on.

Amnesia like never before

For one night the Amnesia Terrace becomes a gala hall. Fifty-three tables of ten, white linen, full silver service, and a four-course dinner served while twenty-five years of dance music is told around you in three acts.

Then the awards, live to ninety countries. Then the doors open, three thousand people arrive, and the winners take to the decks until sunrise.

A three-year residency

Signed with Amnesia in August 2026. This is the first of three, and the first time the awards have taken the Terrace.

The club turns fifty

Amnesia turns fifty in 2026. Two anniversaries land on the same night, in the same building, once.

Live to ninety countries

Broadcast on YouTube as it happens. Whoever is at your table is on camera on the biggest night of the season.

Fifty-three tables is the entire floor. When they are gone, they are gone — there is no second release and no door sale.
